Graphql is a query language that many newer APIs are using as an alternative to RESTFul APIs.
GitHub, for example, offers both a legacy RESTful API, and a newer Graphql API.
The articles in this section (for now) mostly focus on the GitHub Graphql API as a general example of graphql based APIs.
