Week 02c - 10/08 Thu - Team Agreements

For class today:

• If you have finished both jpa02 and jpa03 with a perfect score, please work on H01 and/or H03.
• If you have not finished jpa02 and jpa03, please make some progress on those during class today.

What we want to see for today’s participation grade is “forward progress”.

You’ll see that there is now a private channel on the slack for each student, plus the staff.

For the participation assignment today (p08): please post on that channel what you are working on, and show a screenshot that indicates your progress today.   (For example, show that you improved your jpa02 or jpa03 score, or made progress on H01 or H03.)

No need to post anything on Slack; we’ll just check your new private channel.

As a reminder;

• H01 is the assignment due at midnight on Monday; it’s to read the section of the paper you were assigned on Tuesday, and then answer three questions in the markdown file in your teams NOTES repo.
• H03 is a new assignment released today: it involves some reading about Javascript, and answering a few questions about Javascript. 

Also:

• jpa02 is due tonight at 11:59pm; there is a grace period to tomorrow at 11:59pm.
• jpa03 is due this coming Tuesday at 11:59pm, but there will not be any time on Tuesday to do coding or ask questions about jpa03.   We are doing a different activity on Tuesday of next week that does not involve programming, but instead is a discussion of your reading in the “Listening to Developers” paper. The staff and I will answer questions about jpa03 after class next Tuesday during office hours (6:15-7:15pm), but not during class. We hope to be ready to start our first team project Wednesday of next week, so please plan to be present in class both Tuesday and Wednesday next week—it’s important!
